Summer arrived in full in New York today, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Monday.
It’s been nearly 100 days since my last climb (and even longer since I’ve climbed outside), and naturally, I was thrilled to be back on the rock after resting up following my occupational therapist’s orders.
Rat Rock in Central Park never seems to get old, even after all these years. It was here where I’d first fallen in love with climbing outside, and where I’d discovered the joys (and pain) of traversing and topping out.
