We spent our last day in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai,  soaking up the sun and city sights.

We rocked up to our hotel – The Oberoi – from Abu Dhabi in true Emirati style: in our own private car with driver (Uber) for less than $100.

After checking in and indulging in a late lunch consisting of Tiger Prawns and Waygu short rib, we hopped in a Creek-bound cab to explore the souks of the old city.

A few hours of haggling and losing our orientation later, we cabbed it back to the Oberoi where I enjoyed a nighttime swim at their infinity pool and a quick stretch and conditioning sesh at their swanky pool before catching Etihad Airlines’ luxury coach to Abu Dhabi to fly back to New York City.
