I escaped New York City’s wintry vortex to kick off my Colorado skication, expecting stellar spring skiing conditions, only to be greeted by sub-freezing temps in the teens and windchills of -10F:
The good news is that the Colorado cold front accompanied by a ton of fresh, new powder: 12-24 inches of it!
I had a tough time navigating my skis through the powdery, steep bumps @ Breckenridge, but boy was I glad I did. Especially because doing so meant I could return to our aprés-ski hot tub with a heavenly view:
All in all, a superb, snowy skication in Colorado!
