After our lone friend got left behind, he decided to go for a bit of a swim.

I didn’t realize that sheep could swim, until our sheep friend wandered into the water, and Olav told me that they could.

What we both didn’t know, though, was that our sheep friend could swim 200 meters out into the open water.  That’s when we (as well as his trusty sheepherding dog friend) started to worry:

Luckily,  the rescue was a success, and both sheep and dog friends returned safely to shore after an exhilarating hour or so of swimming.
