Sometimes, New York City feels like Marrakech. Other times, Seoul or Singapore. Tonight, it feels like Little Tokyo.
Village Yochoko in the East Village is dimly lit, crowded, and serves up authentic Japanese cuisine.
Admittedly, I’ve not yet been to Tokyo, but I gather from the crowd, reviews, and wait staff that this place is legit.
And besides, they serve up a mean pumpkin with ground beef and shrimp and a delicious tuna sashimi salad, all under $15.
Can’t beat that.
