Joanna and I signed up for an eco-cycling tour and took on Bali by bike.
We kicked off our 35km tour with breakfast and breathtaking views of the local volcano (pictured above), before cycling through nearby villages on mostly downhill terrain.
Cycling highlights included: getting up close and personal with pigs, kids, and mangosteen, sampling luwak (the world’s most expensive bean) coffee, and an uphill battle towards the end with rewarding views of temples and banyan trees.
It was definitely one of my favorite travel days this trip.
