Sankamphaeng Hot Springs

After getting caught in a local downpour whilst cycling through the Chiang Mai countryside,  we stopped by the hot springs to dry off and relax.

60 Bhat ($2) gets you a towel and private bath to soak away your weary bones and muscle aches (the recommended time for a mineral bath is 15-20 minutes).

The locals like to cook their eggs in the hot springs,  which are a balmy 105F.  I didn’t have a chance to boil eggs or soak my toes into the hot springs,  but I did manage to capture the eggs cooking in cute baskets on film.
