Eating my Way through Oregon

I kicked off my day with the perfect marriage of a Stumptown soy cappuccino and a huckleberry french macaroon @ Ken’s Artisenal Bakery.

My (very) late lunch @ Fireside in the Alphabet District consisted of grilled cheese and red peppers with french fries and The Clover Club cocktail (gin, egg white, and something pink).

Early supper was had at Bamboo Sushi,  where Arum and I chowed down on Japanese pancake (okinamakse, please forgive my spelling), pork belly buns, fried shisito peppers,  edamame, cold sake, and sauvignon blanc.

I’m pretty sure I gained about 5 lbs. on my Portland holiday.   Success!
