Cape Cod

At the end of the universe at the end of June, we celebrated my birthday.

That’s how my friend, Iulia, describes Provincetown,  MA.

We stayed at adorable and affordable accommodations at the edge of town.  With spectacular views, easy accessibility to biking trails along the beach and through the woods, a heated pool, and an outdoor patio area complete with a grill,  it was the best bargain in Ptown.

There’s something about traveling carless that feels so freeing. We’d hopped on a train to Boston and ferried over to Provincetown before renting bikes at nearby Gale Force bikes.

It became our primary mode of transportation. We relished riding at night, into the dark horizon where black sky meets sea and streets are blurred by dew and hues of slick Cape Cod summer.
