My nine day vaycay in Vietnam has been a fun and fulfilling one, but as with all good things…

I spent a thought-provoking and relaxing last day in Hanoi, visiting crucial historic sites such as the Temple of Literature and Hoa Long Prison, which the American POWs sarcastically referred to as the ‘Hanoi Hilton’. 

Wasn’t John McCain dreamy (albeit captured and tortured, and that’s certainly nothing to poke fun about) back in the day?

And so ends my solo adventures (and 8th solo trip, which apparently in Chinese culture is a lucky number) in Vietnam.  Until next time, Vietnam!
