It’s been a phenomenal four days climbing and mingling with the local Asia Outdoors crew. We had a long and leisurely goodbye brunch of sorts at the Cat Ba Sunrise Resort, accompanied by stunning poolside and beachside views.

Allison and I went for a short aprés-brunch stroll on the Cat Co Beach 3 walkway. The karst backdrop against misty sea air made for good photo ops, my favorite being these Asian boy band album cover-esque shots I snapped on the beach.

Sad to leave Cat Ba climbing behind (for now, anyway), but psyched to have met such a warm and welcoming group of local climbers.

Next stop: Sapa via Hanoi!
